Restaurant in Silver Spring

Entering Silver Strings, you are transported to to the old west. The decor is of the days of Billy the kid and as recent as vaudeville days. The television screens old episodes of westerns and current tv shows.
The bartender is very detailed oriented and has an excellent mind for the craft. He is also a world traveler and has great stories to tell. The drinks are very generous and are great. Their Moscow mule is one of my favorite.
While they have a limited menu, I imagine due to covid, I did enjoy a delicious burger with shoestring fries.
All in all, I had a great experience here.

The food is delicious and good quality. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and decor are classy and cozy. Friendly staff. Roomy with a good dance floor. Really liked the band, sookey jump.

I really love this place and I hope more people will discover it soon. The menu is not large, but everything is really good. I especially love their crab cakes. Also really like the berry cobbler they were serving the last time we went in -- see the photo. The atmosphere here is not like any other place in Silver Spring, lovely spot for date night or to meet and catch up with a friend. More ambiance than a lot of the other places near by. How can you NOT love a place that has classic movies on the TVs over the bar instead of sports? They often have live music, including jazz. Great service, too. A great addition to the Silver Spring restaurant scene.
